Plugged-In Virginia Grant Goes to Two Counties’ Adult Literacy Programs

Funding from the Pathways to Improvement Program known as Plugged-In Virginia, was recently awarded to Charlotte and Brunswick county adult literacy programs. This is a Virginia Literacy Foundation initiative to improve employability skills of adult education and literacy students. Free classes, such as Communication on the Workplace, for adults reading at or below a 5th grade level have been and will be made available at these two counties in the coming months and years.
